Brayden's ABCs

We have been working with Brayden on his ABCs. He does pretty well with all the sounds. He even says Grandpa and Grandma. Brayden's speech is progressing so well; he can mimic (or try to mimic) everything we say.

A Great Trip in Seattle

Cory and I really enjoyed our time in Seattle. It definitely is a beautiful city built in beautiful surroundings. We also enjoyed a day in Vancouver. Here are some pics. Thank you Aunt Dorothy for letting us stay in your home.

A Day at Snowbird

On Wednesday we took a trip up to Snowbird and went on a nice walk through the trees. We saw deer, squirrels, and beautiful scenery, but Brayden mostly enjoyed the rocks--all the little rocks on the ground that he could stick in his mouth.

Brayden also has some new skills: waving "hi," eating with a spoon, dancing, and saying "mmm" for what a cow says.

Brayden's First Birthday

Brayden enjoyed a wonderful first visit with a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Hester. We got together for Easter dinner and also celebrated his birthday with some cake. When sang Happy Birthday, I think he was a little freaked out and started crying. He didn't really like the cake that much, but he loved the toys that my mom put on the top of the cake. Erin also took some great pictures at Wheeler Farm. Thank you Aunt Erin!

I'm a Horrible Blogger

Okay. . . so I'm not so consistent on the blogging thing, but with our new computer I hope to amend my ways.

Most recently, Cory and I enjoyed a fun-filled adventure in Zion's National Park. We hiked Angel's Landing on day (our warm-up) and then the Subway the next. It was fantastic. Enjoys the pics.
